Building a house with a 3D printer!

In recent reports, Apis Cor has successfully completed a building in Dubai.

This American company claims to have completed a project that is the largest building in the world using 3D printing technology.

This printed building is located in Dubai and forms the main structure of an office building. Although human power also played a role in its construction, its main implementation has reached the stage of construction using a 3D printer.

This office building has two floors with a height of about 9.5 meters and has a substructure of nearly 640 square meters.

 

How was the 3D printing method of the largest  ?

The construction method of this structure is that the cement mortar is poured layer by layer through a nozzle and forms the main structure of this administrative structure.

Due to the scope of this project, the 3D printer has been moved by a crane.

 

How long did the 3D printing of this project take?

The duration of the construction of this structure is three weeks and only three manpower from Apis Cor Company have participated in the implementation of this project.

Undoubtedly, the construction of the largest building with a 3D printer in Dubai is a step forward in the architecture industry with 3D construction technology, although we must remind again that its implementation was not possible without the use of human power.

Needless to say, in order to strengthen the structure and implement the foundation, install doors, windows and roof, carry out wiring and similar works, hand-made rebar and mortar have been used in this project.
